Auto‑Configure

CAD & PLM Automation, Augmented by AI

From rule-driven configuration to AI agents that work inside your CAD and PLM systems.

Auto-Configure links your CAD models to Microsoft Excel, so engineering teams can define hundreds of design variants in a familiar spreadsheet and generate accurate parts, assemblies and drawings automatically. We build with AI ourselves, and we design AI agents that extend this same automation into your wider CAD, PDM and PLM workflow.

Why Auto-Configure

Built for engineering teams who design the same thing, differently, every day.

Auto-Configure keeps your design knowledge in a spreadsheet your whole team can read, instead of buried inside CAD features only one engineer understands.

  • Increases engineering productivity by removing repetitive modeling work
  • Reduces design errors through rule-driven, repeatable generation
  • Makes designs easy to reproduce consistently across projects
  • Keeps design standards in Excel, so the CAD model itself stays simple
  • Supports company-wide design standardization

Is this for your team?

You should consider Auto-Configure if…

01

You manage many design variants

Product lines with dozens or hundreds of configurations are exactly where automation pays back fastest.

02

Your shop floor waits on design

If manufacturing capacity sits idle because engineers are still modeling routine variants, automation closes that gap.

03

Your team can't easily grow

When budget for additional design headcount is limited, automation adds capacity without adding staff.

04

You want design standardization

Centralizing rules in Excel makes standards explicit, auditable, and easy for the whole team to follow.

AI Solutions

The same discipline, extended with AI agents

Configuration and standardization rules are only part of the picture. We also design AI agents that work inside your CAD, PDM and PLM systems — reviewing configurations, drafting documentation, and keeping engineering data consistent — always with a person reviewing the result.

  • Built by a team that uses AI in its own development practice
  • Agents scoped to one workflow, not a general-purpose assistant
  • Connected only to the CAD, PDM/PLM or Microsoft data each task needs
  • Human review built into every agent from day one

Products

Four focused tools, built on SOLIDWORKS

Auto-Configure automates configuration and standardization for any SOLIDWORKS model. Design Tools for Manifold adds purpose-built commands for hydraulic manifold design. CADPilot lets engineers run commands by voice. ProcessWorks moves and copies model libraries with every reference intact. See full product details →

SOLIDWORKS Add-In

Auto-Configure

Export model parameters to Excel, define your configurations there, and generate accurate SOLIDWORKS parts, assemblies and drawings automatically — complete with a Standardizer to keep every model consistent.

SOLIDWORKS Add-In

Design Tools for Manifold

A dedicated command set for hydraulic manifold design — block creation, component and footprint placement, network coloring, and automatic drawing views, tables and annotations.

SOLIDWORKS Voice Assistant

CADPilot

Speak your design intent in your own language, and CADPilot executes the matching SolidWorks command instantly — deterministic, not generative.

Standalone Application

ProcessWorks

Copy or move SOLIDWORKS parts, assemblies and drawings together with every reference they depend on — mapped, selected and relocated accurately.

Desktop-first, by design

Built where engineers actually design

Cloud-hosted CAD platforms, including Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE, have been around for a few years now. Most engineering teams, in our experience, still do their daily design work on desktop CAD — and a lot of CAD automation vendors have followed the cloud trend anyway. We've chosen to stay focused on where most of our clients actually work.

All four of our products run on desktop SOLIDWORKS. Our team builds the same kind of desktop automation for any major CAD platform — SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Siemens NX and others — and develops integrations into cloud platforms like 3DEXPERIENCE where a specific project calls for it.

  • Runs fully offline — no dependency on an internet connection
  • Design data stays on your own infrastructure, not a third-party cloud
  • No added cloud subscription on top of your existing CAD licenses
  • Consistent performance on large assemblies, without browser overhead
  • Cloud integrations available by request, scoped to what you actually need

CAD Automation Training

Most engineers were never taught to automate. We fix that.

Mechanical engineers are rarely taught programming, and automation can feel unfamiliar as a result — even as it becomes a normal part of the job. We run hands-on CAD automation training, online or in person, for students, working engineers and full design teams, starting from zero programming background.

  • No assumption of prior programming experience
  • Built around real CAD automation, not abstract exercises
  • Taught by the team that builds this professionally
  • Online, in-person, or for a whole team together
