Auto‑Configure

Services

CAD automation and customization, built around your models.

Beyond our packaged products, we build custom automation directly for your CAD environment and standards — on SOLIDWORKS, SolidEdge, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX and other major platforms.

CAD Automation Services

Custom modules for your repetitive tasks

01

Develop modules to automate repetitive design tasks.

02

Develop add-ins and applications to interactively perform multiple tasks based on user input, across SOLIDWORKS, SolidEdge, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX and other platforms.

03

Develop macros that quickly generate the desired output from user input.

04

Develop commands that provide, in one step, functionality that otherwise requires multiple CAD interface commands.

05

Develop tools that work synchronously within the CAD environment itself.

CAD Customization Services

Your models, your standards

Model customization

Customize CAD models to a client's specific requirements, from parametric behaviour to output formatting.

Standards application

Define and apply standard design practices consistently across an organization's CAD models.

Library migration

Relocate large SOLIDWORKS model libraries with references intact, using ProcessWorks to map, select and standardize as you go.

AI Agent Development & Integration

Extend automation with AI, where it earns its place

A newer service line, built on the same automation foundation: task-specific AI agents connected to your CAD, PDM/PLM and Microsoft data. See how we scope and supervise these agents → Our product CADPilot applies the same discipline to voice-driven SOLIDWORKS commands, with an on-premise learning layer now in development.

Configuration & parameter agents

Review incoming order or spec data against your configuration rules before generation runs.

Drawing & documentation agents

Draft routine drawing notes and change-order text from the model and its history.

PDM/PLM data agents

Flag inconsistent metadata and surface reusable parts across your PLM library.

Process & reporting agents

Summarize release status and exceptions across CAD, PLM and Microsoft systems.

Platforms we work with

One team, several desktop CAD environments

Our development work runs on desktop CAD installations — the environment most engineering teams still design in day to day.

Desktop-first, by design

Built where engineers actually design

Cloud-hosted CAD platforms, including Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE, have been available for several years. Most engineering teams, in our experience, still do their daily design work on desktop CAD — and that's deliberately where we focus our development. It's also why so many CAD automation vendors have moved to cloud-only tooling: it's a reasonable bet on where the market is eventually headed, but not necessarily where most teams are working today.

Our team builds desktop-based automation for any major CAD platform — SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Siemens NX and others. Where a specific project calls for it, we also develop integrations into cloud-based CAD and PLM platforms, including 3DEXPERIENCE, scoped to that requirement.

  • Runs fully offline — no dependency on an internet connection to keep working
  • Design data stays on your own infrastructure, not a third-party cloud
  • No added cloud subscription layered on top of your existing CAD licenses
  • Consistent performance on large assemblies, without browser overhead
  • Cloud integrations available by request, scoped to the platform you actually use

CAD Automation Training

Want your own team to build this, not just receive it?

Alongside custom development, we run hands-on CAD automation training for engineers with no programming background — online, in person, or for a whole design team together. See how training works →

Describe the task your team repeats most.

We'll tell you whether a module, a macro or a full add-in is the right fit.
